Growing Places Havant offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, celebrating 30 years of providing childcare and education. The nursery is designed to be light, bright, and spacious, encouraging exploration, investigation, creativity, and fun.

Babies have dedicated areas tailored to their developmental needs, offering opportunities for physical activity, comfort, imaginative play, and natural exploration, supported by caring and knowledgeable adults. 5 to 4, benefit from a "Family Room" divided into three family pod spaces, providing diverse indoor and outdoor play options.

A dedicated studio allows older children to delve deeper into their investigations and projects. The outdoor garden features natural grass mounds for climbing, areas for digging and planting, and spaces for imaginative role-play and adventure.

Nutritious, seasonal meals are prepared daily by a dedicated cook, sometimes with children's involvement to foster an understanding and appreciation of food preparation. Growing Places Havant prides itself on a warm welcome and a commitment to meeting individual family needs.

An Ofsted inspection highlighted the high levels of confidence and independence displayed by children, who are highly motivated and responsive to learning. The nursery also implements the "Growing Places Approach," which prioritises a child's right to choose, make connections, and communicate, recognising each child as an individual with unique needs and interests.

Pricing & funding

Fees are reviewed annually in April. Sessions are designed to be flexible with the option to add up to one additional hour. Fees include all meals and healthy snacks, unless extra hours are added over lunch.

  • Unrestricted holidays are charged at half rate.
  • Bank holidays are charged at the full rate.
  • One annual staff training closure day is charged at half rate.
  • A 10% sibling discount is offered for a second child attending the same sessions.

My daughter has been going here now since she was 9 months old, and I honestly cannot thank the staff enough. They truly do love the children, my daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are great, so caring and thoughtful and it definitely has a family feel whenever you walk through the door, everyone is always so friendly and they really get to know each child so well. The new nursery location is also great, there is so much space for the little ones to explore. We Couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our daughter, highly recommend!

Our daughter is going to this nursery from 1 years old when she just started walking and now she’s 2 and half, running everywhere. We all love this place and all the stuff as they are always very helpful. They are very carrying with all children and loving. We are very happy with the new location and children enjoyed it as well, all new and bright, lots of space. Food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this nursery!

Both my children have come to this nursery a few years apart, and both times have been exceptional. The staff and managment are fantastic! They are highly skilled and really do put the children's needs at the heart of everything they do. The food is healthy, fees really good, staff are exceptional. Lots of lovely activities and experiences for the kids. Highly recommended!

We are so happy with the care & support that our daughter receives. They encourage her personality and imagination. They supported her amazingly with the transition. We have no concerns with communication. They put the safety and well being of the children at the heart of the service they provide. The nursery is cleaned & well looked after. They put on special events after work hours so the families and children can socialise. The staff are warm and welcoming, Zoe and Joe x

Fantastic nursery. We couldn’t ask for better staff to take care of our kids. Jess and the team go above and beyond, always putting the needs of the children first and are so understanding. The new premises are also brilliant, really bright and airy. 100% would recommend.
