Inclusion & environment
The ambitious curriculum is well considered and is highly effective for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Under the guidance of the highly skilled SEND coordinator, all staff support the needs of children with SEND exceptionally well. They show truly inclusive practice and this, together with robust partnership working, means children soon progress well from their starting points.
Younger children delight in the time spent outside. They copy staff as they learn to make sandcastles and use different tools as they play. Children seek out puddles to splash in, and show confidence as they move around safely in wet weather.
After moving from kent we decided that halesworth nursery was best for us with being close to home & work. Our little one has settled in so well and loves going in, he recently got moved up into the older room with his new key person Freya who he absolutely loves. It's so nice and reassuring to pick him up each time and he has a big smile on his face from all the fun he has had. We can't thank Halesworth Day Nursery for looking after him so well and helping him settle really quickly after a big move!
