It is registered on the Early Years Register and also accommodates children with special educational needs and those learning English as an additional language. The pre-school has achieved an Ofsted "Outstanding" rating and is dedicated to providing an exciting and welcoming learning environment.

The setting values a child-centred approach, fostering imagination and positive attitudes towards learning through various activities and themes, such as their penguin-themed environment. The staff are committed to excellence, employing effective methods to assess children's development and ensure significant progress in their learning journeys.

What it's like

Children love coming to this exceptionally welcoming pre-school and share very close relationships with the caring staff, which helps all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), to progress very well. Children excitedly engage in meaningful activities from the start, spending time with their key person at the beginning of the day in a small, cosy space where they welcome each other warmly and talk about how they are feeling, thus developing a strong sense of identity and self-worth.
