Inclusion & environment
Children get fresh air and exercise every day, enjoying playing in the garden and engaging in lots of learning outside, such as planting seeds to grow their own fruit and vegetables. They enthusiastically use large brushes and water to make marks on surfaces outdoors, which supports their hand strength and physical skills for writing.
Children who speak English as an additional language are supported well. Staff use some words in their home languages and lots of gestures and pictures. Consequently, children are making good progress and their understanding and use of English are rapidly improving.
