Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Those responsible for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities work well with outside agencies and schools. This ensures that all children have a smooth transition to school.

Outdoor space

Children are able to choose whether they prefer to be indoors or outdoors. Babies crawl outside onto soft surfacing, and under constant supervision, they take safe risks, crawling up a low ramp and down the other side. Mobile children excitedly experiment with finding out which travels fastest down a ramp out of toy animals, cars or water.

Staff are very friendly with adults and children alike. The rooms are open and well lit, each having its own outdoor area. The children are encouraged to do things for themselves, and are allowed to move from indoor to outdoor as they see fit. There is an onsite chef who prepares nice sounding meals, taking into account the child's needs, my child obviously enjoys them as, I'm told, he eats everything he's given.

Went to look round, not a single staff member acknowledged my baby the entire time. We did not send our child there.

We absolutely loved the time our son, Ethan, had at Happy Days. He was always happy when we dropped him off and wanted to stay longer when we collected him. I wish we could have kept him there longer but a move out of the area meant we had to say goodbye
