Where to start? Happy Days has been a wonderful part of our lives for many years now, caring for both of our boys and providing a safe, friendly and nurturing environment for them. The staff have felt like family. They've supported us through some tricky moments with our youngest, even accompanying us to external health visitor meetings. They truly care for the children and have a genuine interest in their well-being and future. We are so sad to be leaving, but thanks to their dedication and support our youngest is ready and raring to go to school. We will miss their friendly welcome in the morning and the sweet little updates throughout the day. Thank you so much for everything you've done for our family. Can't recommend them enough!

A very sad experience. My daughter put my granddaughters name down at the end of 2023. She wanted a morning session a week starting in January and 4 mornings a week from September. This was agreed and £50 was taken to enter the waiting list. The January start didn’t happen but my daughter was reassured about September. Four months before my granddaughter was due to start my daughter received an email saying they were no longer offering sessional care and only offered full days. My daughter hadn’t applied to other settings and didn’t want a full day for my two and a half year old granddaughter. She explained this and was met with no support at all but offered, as a gesture of good will, her £50 back!! I appreciate government funding makes it difficult for nurseries to manage financially but the latest changes have been known for some time, so I feel Happy Days had enough full time starts to be able to run without sessional care. This is supported by their website still offering the latter…. We were really disappointed at the lack of concern my daughter was shown and no thought to my granddaughter who could have missed out on the early years experience.

An absolutely fantastic nursery, from facilities to staff. I honestly cannot describe how good the staff were when my little boy started nursery at the beginning of the year. I was so anxious that he wasnt going to settle, as he had never been left with anyone, but because of the amazingly kind, and professional staff he settled in so well and quickly. He loves it and has made friends with other children and the staff. The facilities are really good and allow the children to be able to learn in whatever activity they chose to do. My little boy always goes in with a smile on his face and comes home with a smile on his face, even through the pandemic happy days have been such a great help, from sending daily activities during lockdown to calling us for a check in to see how we as a family were coping. When we have our update meetings on his progress its so obvious that the staff spend time getting to know the children as they describe him and his personality down to a fine art! I also love the new app where I can see what and how much he has eaten, and get little pictures and updates, its great!

Absolutely brilliant nursery, it was recommended to me by my sister in law and boy i can see why, my son loves it here, he runs in every morning he tells me everything he has done, the teachers talk to you on a regular basis so your always updated on what your little one gets up to, they also do a book of your little one aswell and they right little reports in there and photos a great keep sake. 100% recommended

My elder daughter loved Happy Days and really enjoyed her time there..staff are very caring and helpful. my younger daughter is waiting to start her nursery too at the same place.
