Happy Hours Private Day Nursery, established in 1976, offers childcare for children aged 0-4 years in Workington. 45pm, closing only for bank holidays and a week over Christmas.

Support plans are well-focused, and rigorous monitoring ensures continuous intervention, leading to good progress for children with SEND. While indoor activities allow creativity and imagination to flourish, the outdoor curriculum is still developing to fully enhance these areas.
Toddlers enjoy developing fine motor skills in the outdoor mud kitchen, and children engage in activities that promote large and small muscle movements, such as riding bicycles and climbing. Parental feedback highlights the staff as "trusting and supportive" and describes the nursery as "special" and "welcome".
