Harefield Hospital Day Nursery, established in 2021, provides a welcoming and friendly childcare environment for children aged 0–4 years. Open all year round from 7am to 6pm, the nursery focuses on creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where children are happy and eager to learn, as highlighted in its latest "Good" Ofsted rating from May 2024.

Staff show high expectations for what children can achieve, encouraging independence and positive behaviour. The curriculum incorporates a strong focus on outdoor learning, with children enjoying a wide range of activities in the vast garden regardless of the weather, promoting physical development and exploration.

Managers are committed to continuous improvement, including initiatives to further communication and language development for all children, including those with additional needs, by using support programmes that enhance verbal interactions and listening skills. The nursery values strong relationships between children and their key persons, ensuring that individual needs are met and children settle in comfortably at their own pace.

Children are very happy, behave well and show a love of learning at this welcoming and friendly nursery. They form strong relationships with all the staff and particularly their key person. Staff know children very well and are attentive to their needs on a daily basis.
