Hayeswick Day Nursery, situated in a refurbished 1900s church at Starts Hill Road, Farnborough, offers high-quality day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This family-run nursery prioritises a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children learn through a blend of structured and free play.
The nursery aims to develop children's social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional skills, preparing them for primary school. Hayeswick has three distinct age-group rooms: Baby Bears (3 months–2 years), Tiny Tigers (2–3 years) in a spacious main hall, and Giraffes (3–5 years) with garden access.
Our ethos
We aim to provide only the best care and education for your child where their health, welfare, safety and security are paramount. Each child will be encouraged to develop and learn through a mixture of structured and free play. We believe that this approach will help children to develop naturally their own unique, social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional skills and will lay the foundations for reading, writing, mathematical and scientific understanding, in preparation for primary school and the requirements of the National Curriculum.
What it's like

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents say that children are sociable and very confident.
Parents report that children make exceptional progress with their learning.
Parents report that regular stay-and-play sessions help them to understand how to support their children's learning at home.
Inclusion & environment
Managers support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities exceptionally well. They work seamlessly with a range of experts to identify children that need extra help. Staff work with partners to deliver targeted and highly effective teaching to help to close gaps in children's learning. All children achieve the best possible outcomes.
Toddlers learn the steps they need to take to ride on wheeled toys in the garden with gentle support from staff. When toddlers go on a pretend bear hunt, they learn to listen and answer questions about a story and count the steps they take through the 'cold river'. Children excitedly line up and take their own bear hunt into the garden. All staff regularly risk assess the rooms and the garden to ensure that children are safe.
Please be careful with this nursery ! my child who had nightmares and would cry most days for more than 5 months straight! he could not talk much but all he said was No and staffs name. I did not understand this first but when after few months he not happy and upset . i only realised thus much later.
