Heathcote House Nursery provides a welcoming and stimulating "home from home" environment for children aged three months to pre-school in Devises. The nursery is committed to inspiring wonder and nurturing curiosity through a blend of expert care and play-based learning.

Heathcote House aims to foster independence and vital life skills, preparing children not just for school, but for future life experiences. The nursery operates year-round, Monday to Friday, from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm, excluding Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year, and offers flexible attendance options, including term-time only places.

Lovely, homely nursery. A family atmosphere is created with all the staff knowing my daughter by name regardless of the class she is in and they have been great at supporting her through transitions and separation anxiety. Now she is three she talks lots about her nursery days and all her friends.

We are delighted with Heathcote, which feels like a home from home for our daughter. The staff are incredibly caring, friendly, and attentive, and they always make the children feel safe, happy, and valued. It’s wonderful to see how much Ember has grown in confidence, learning, and social skills since attending. The activities are creative, engaging, and educational, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and development. Communication with parents is excellent, particularly since introduction of the app, and we always feel informed about our child's progress and daily experiences. The nursery environment is clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy. We truly appreciate the dedication and kindness of all the staff and would highly recommend Heathcote to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive setting for their child.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Heathcote House Nursery. From the very beginning, the caring and attentive staff made her feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. She has grown in confidence, made lovely friendships, and developed important skills through a variety of fun and engaging activities. The nurturing environment and strong communication from the team have given me real peace of mind, knowing she is in such a supportive place each day.

Poppy has loved her time at Heathcote. She looks forward to going each day and has built lovely relationships with both the staff and the other children. We’ve seen great progress in her confidence, communication, and social skills since she started. She especially enjoys the creative activities and outdoor play. It’s been reassuring to see how happy and settled she is in the environment. Also since the nursery introduced the electronic system for sharing updates, it has been a really positive improvement. We find it much easier to keep up with what our child has been doing throughout the day, and the regular updates give us a clearer insight into her activities, development, and interests. It’s especially nice to see photos and detailed observations, as it helps us feel more connected to her daily experiences and gives us a great starting point for conversations with her at home. Overall, it’s made communication more convenient and engaging for us as parents. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the carers for the wonderful care and support you have given our daughter during her time at nursery

Our son has been at Heathcote House for eight months. We have been delighted with the care that he has received from every member of the team and his key person has been fantastic. We have been impressed with the range of activities that they organise for the children each day and appreciate the effort they go to in communicating what he has been up to. We feel so fortunate to have found such a nurturing nursery for our son and know that he is in safe hands. We would not hesitate to recommend Heathcote House.
