Toddlers explore crunchy leaves in the woodland and mix with natural materials. Older children enjoy forest school sessions and yoga in the meadow.
We absolutely love Sixpenny Day Nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough. My daughter attended from age one through to starting school, and my son is currently there and about to start preschool, both of my children have always been more than accommodated. The staff are amazing, so friendly and always go above and beyond. It’s a warm, caring environment with lovely events throughout the year, and both of my children have been incredibly happy here. It truly feels like a home from home and gives real peace of mind as a parent.

Read on GoogleThe staff at The Old Station Nursery in Devizes are simply wonderful-friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting every child. From the moment we visited, it was clear how much they care about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and valued. What really sets this nursery apart is their unique approach to learning. With outdoor spaces, woodland areas, a mud kitchen, and even pygmy goats, children have endless opportunities to explore, be curious, and engage with nature. The Forest School-inspired activities make learning exciting and hands-on, helping children develop both skills and confidence in a fun, creative way. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!
