Home Farm Children's Nursery provides a welcoming, caring, and safe environment where children aged 6 months to 5 years can engage in enjoyable learning through exciting and challenging activities and high-quality play experiences. The nursery prioritises the development of each child's potential, self-confidence, and personal self-esteem, working in collaboration with families.

The approach encourages children to become independent, curious, confident, and resilient learners, fostering respect for themselves, others, and their environment. Children are at the heart of the nursery's philosophy, and parental involvement is highly valued.

The nursery boasts well-designed classrooms that promote optimal learning, with a focus on creating a calming atmosphere using natural colours and materials. Both indoor play areas and an outdoor garden are available, with additional access to the larger grounds of Homewood School, offering opportunities for sports days, organised walks, and library use.

The dedicated staff, most of whom hold Level 3 or higher childcare qualifications, are committed to fostering strong bonds with the children and ensuring their well-being.

What it's like

Children are full of enthusiasm and confidently separate from parents and/or carers, showing familiarity with the daily routine. They demonstrate high levels of independence and good social skills, choosing activities and confidently talking to visitors. Babies are happy and secure, moving around the room with ease and seeking reassurance from staff when needed.
