Inclusion & environment
Staff identify children who need support with speech and language. They understand the importance of early intervention and seek support from other professionals. Staff speak slowly and carefully to ensure children understand instructions and can practise words.
Children enjoy games in the outdoor area, such as 'What's the time Mr Wolf?' and 'Hide and Seek', led by the staff. Staff make good use of the outdoor area to promote children's learning and physical development, with opportunities for climbing, swinging, riding bicycles, and practicing writing and drawing on a large chalkboard.
