Home From Home Nursery offers high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 6 months to 5 years, operating Monday to Friday. Since 2012, its mission has been to provide a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their individual pace.
The nursery focuses on fostering growth through care, compassion, and creativity, aiming to make early development a memorable experience. They incorporate the Hygge Philosophy to create a cosy, calm, and supportive atmosphere, starting each day with morning huddles to build a sense of belonging and confidence in learners.
The curriculum includes a "Learning Lab" for engaging, hands-on activities in maths, literacy, and science, and "Play Stations" to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social skills through interactive play. Outdoor play is also a key component, promoting physical activity and nature exploration.
The nursery prioritises individualised care, maintaining low staff-to-child ratios to ensure each child receives personalised attention. For meals, they partner with Zebedees to provide nutritious food, with children aged 2 and above using real china plates and stainless steel cutlery to develop independence and social skills.
They also offer real-time parent communication through the Famly app, keeping parents informed about their child's day. Home From Home Nursery has four locations across Surrey, providing full-day and half-day care options, and accepts various government funding options to make childcare more accessible.

Our 2-year-old absolutely loves going to Home From Home. The staff are so kind, patient, and caring — they’ve created such a warm and welcoming environment where our little one feels safe and happy every day. We’ve noticed so much growth in confidence, speech, and social skills since joining. The activities are always fun and engaging, perfectly suited for their age — from messy play and outdoor adventures to songs and story time. It’s wonderful to see how much joy our child gets from learning and playing here. Communication with parents is fantastic too — we always know what our child has been up to and how they’re progressing. We couldn’t ask for a better start to their early learning journey. Highly recommend Home From Home to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive nursery for their little one!

Our son is very happy at Home from Home Nursery. He is very well cared for. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and extremely approachable. Most importantly, they know the children within their care very well and communicate with parents brilliantly. Our son is very happy at nursery and has thrived since starting and made great progress. The staff work very hard to ensure all the children within their care have a positive and happy experience.

My little one has been with HFH nursery for almost one year. Since starting, the nursery have gone above and beyond to make my son, and myself, feel as comfortable with the transition period as possible. The staff are all warm and welcoming. He has gone from being shy, to now being confident in the setting. On collection he doesn’t want to leave, which shows how much he enjoys it. His speech has developed massively, and I believe this is due to the activities and support given to him by all the staff. He has a key worker, who really takes the time to find out his likes and dislikes, and a thorough update at the end of the day. Thank you for all her support. My son recently experienced a scary situation at home with his health. The nursery were really supportive when he returned, providing lots of reassurance. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone, mainly due to the warm friendly staff and my son absolutely loves attending. Thank you HFH!!

My two children attended HFH for two weeks during the Summer. The nursery was very accommodating with this, which was a life saver! My kids absolutely loved their time here and we wished that they could have stayed for longer. Every day, my daughter would come home so happy and excited to share what had happened during the day. They both loved all of the sensory play that was on offer. I still cannot believe how quickly both children settled, and hope to be back for the next holiday :)

We love this nursery. My daughter has just finished her time at Home From Home and she will miss it so much but she is totally school ready thanks to the team at Home From Home. Our family cannot recommend this nursery enough. Watching her confidence grow and hearing about all she has learnt there is amazing. My son is still there so we still get to see the lovely staff who truly do care about the children the care for.
