About this day nursery

Home2Home Nursery, established in 2014 initially as a childminding service, expanded to open its first dedicated branch in Round Green in April 2016. Following this success, a larger Adelaide branch was launched in February 2019, which led to the consolidation of both settings into this purpose-built, two-story building in the heart of Luton.

This location offers easy access for children and parents, and its proximity to Luton Mall allows for regular visits. The nursery focuses on developing life skills rather than a traditional classroom approach, catering to a diverse group of children from various cultural and religious backgrounds.

Children have opportunities for daily outdoor play in a secure and engaging garden area, regardless of the season. The nursery prides itself on being fully inclusive, offering a welcoming 'home-from-home' environment where children thrive through fun, laughter, and a stimulating atmosphere.

The comfortable and exciting spaces are designed to encourage learning through play, delivering a rich and varied curriculum that fosters self-motivation, challenge, self-discipline, perseverance, and commitment to learning, while also addressing individual needs. The nursery also features a sensory room, used for quiet activities and rest, linked to the Adventurers room.

They provide freshly cooked vegetarian meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet and their five-a-day. Home2Home Nursery aims to offer competitive childcare costs, with all fees including lunch, tea, snacks, cow’s milk, nappies, and wipes.

The nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm, closing only on bank holidays and for five days over Christmas and New Year's.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

Outdoor space

Children sing joyfully as they prepare to go out into the garden. They are learning how to keep themselves safe. For instance, older children tell their friends to hold the handrail while walking down the stairs. Before going into the garden, children take part in counting the number of children there are, to check they are all together. Children have lots of opportunities to be physically active and to develop their muscle control. Toddlers confidently climb on the outdoor climbing frame.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When my son started at this nursery, he had just turned 4 and was a very clingy, shy child. As parents, we were extremely nervous about leaving him. From our very first visit, everything felt so well organised and the staff were incredibly informative, which immediately put us at ease. On his first day, he was still very shy, but you could see how eager he was to explore and play with everything that caught his interest. When I left the room for a few minutes to see how he would settle, two lovely members of staff came to reassure me and calm my very nervous “mum nerves” — something I will always be grateful for. Over time, my son grew in confidence so much (even though he’s still shy at heart!). He absolutely loved coming here so much that even during the holidays he would ask to go back. He’s not the best with names, but the fact that he still remembers some of the staff members by name to this day just shows the impact they had on him. The nursery is extremely well organised, offers healthy food choices, and one of the things I appreciated the most was the daily feedback — I was always kept informed about whether he had a good day, what he got up to, and what he had eaten. That reassurance meant everything to me as a parent. I honestly could not recommend this nursery enough — 100/10 from us. We will definitely be bringing his little brother here

I can’t thank the staff at Home 2 Home Nursery enough for the amazing care and support they’ve given my child. From the very beginning, I felt confident leaving her in their hands. The communication has always been excellent - I appreciate the regular updates through the Baby Days app, which kept me informed and reassured throughout the day. During her time in preschool, she was given weekly homework that really helped develop her writing, understanding of letters and numbers and overall confidence. Sometimes the tasks were a little challenging, but in a good way- it was clear the staff were helping her stretch her abilities and grow. Knowing my daughter was well cared for allowed me to go to work each day with peace of mind. I’m truly grateful to all the staff at Home 2 Home Nursery for creating such a nurturing, safe, and encouraging environment. Thank you all for everything you’ve done!!

Home2Home Nursery is truly amazing! My daughter started at Home2Home when she was just 10 months old, and from day one, I knew she was in the best hands. The entire team is so caring, patient, and loving—they really make every child feel special. As a mum, it meant the world to me that the staff went above and beyond every single day to make sure my little one was happy, safe, and included. They always catered to her needs, even making sure she had vegan alternatives on special days like pancake day and parties, which shows how thoughtful and inclusive they are. I loved how they kept me updated on everything and made drop-offs stress-free. From baby room to toddler room and pre-school, every stage has been filled with warmth and learning. My daughter has made amazing friends and learned so much—she’s now ready for big school with confidence, thanks to them! I would recommend Home2Home to any parent looking for a nursery that feels like family. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us—you’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.

My son has just completed near 3 years with Home2Home and excelled in his personal and educational experience, he has fond memories of Big Henna and often talks about her and Home2Home nursery, I wish them all well and a great future. It is my second experience with them as my older daughter also attended and she speaks highly of the nursery and her memories.
