Leaders identified that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on the well-being of some staff, children and their families, and have provided training to support staff, children and families if required. However, sometimes, staff do not think enough about how they can support individual children's needs during the learning they plan.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Hucknall Day Nursery is a fantastic place. Our daughter is always very happy when we pick her up and she has developed quickly since attending. The staff are all great with kids and are very helpful when communicating with the parents. The owners are very friendly too. The Nursery uses an app which sends daily updates and photos of your child. The app is a good way to email staff, get Nursery updates etc. We couldn't be happier and are glad we chose Hucknall Day Nursery.
