About this day nursery

IEDUC8 NURSERY, established in 2022, operates from non-domestic premises in Peterborough, PE1 2JA. The nursery opens Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, on a term-time basis, caring for children aged 1 to 4 years.

The latest Ofsted inspection, on 3 February 2025, rated the nursery as 'Requires Improvement'. Children at IEDUC8 NURSERY settle in well and form secure bonds with staff, who are described as warm and caring.

The setting provides a welcoming and secure environment where children feel safe and develop confidence, with staff nurturing babies especially well. While a focused curriculum is in place that builds on children's interests and offers good-quality learning opportunities, its implementation doesn't yet consistently build on what children already know or need to learn next.

The new management team has a clear understanding of the nursery's strengths and areas for development. Staff promptly identify children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and collaborate effectively with parents to provide support, despite facing limitations in additional funding for resources.

Behaviour among children is good, and staff explain rules to help them understand sharing and taking turns. Children also follow sensible hygiene routines, understanding the importance of handwashing.

The nursery has a sound knowledge of its key children, gathering information from parents to tailor the settling-in process to individual needs.
