My son attended In The Sticks in 2024-25 and it was by far the best childcare setting we have had the fortune of him attending, he still talks about his time there! The staff are caring, supportive and thoughtful - creating genuine relationships with the children. The facilities and activities they took part in were truly enriching, helping our transition into Home Education. We couldn’t have asked for more, including SEN support when necessary.
I would recommend In The Sticks to anyone looking for a nurturing, alternative setting to mainstream nursery/pre-school.

The In The Sticks Team, headed by Georgia, are fantastic. Located in a beautiful countryside setting, with a huge garden that my son absolutely adored. So many wonderful memories made with the team, who helped my son grow in confidence with making new friends and enjoying the fantastic Montessori feel the setting has to offer - thank you!

A truly magical place
Our little one went to In The Sticks 3 days a week until they started school. For us the setting is faultless, the staff are smart, caring, knowledgeable and creative. When they say they get out in whatever weather they really mean it. They’re always in nature, not only in their little patch but they explore local woodlands and wildlife frequently. I found my child's health improved dramatically from being outside so much and even though we had to travel a little distance for the setting it was more than worth it.
I feel honoured to have given my child such an incredible start in life with such a creative, caring and magical experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the wonderful team…we do miss you very much!

My Son visits In the Sticks once a week. It really suits him as he loves playing outdoors and going on adventures. Georgia is great at looking after my son, taking into account his needs and sending us photos and updates through the day.
The location is amazing and makes me jealous that he gets to spend the day there. My son especially likes the chickens!

Incredible childcare setting surrounded by nature. The staff are caring and sensitive in how they guide and nurture the children.. Our daughter had a wonderful few years here.
