Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff use additional funding effectively to ensure children who are entitled receive the support they need. Through regular observations, staff identify areas where some children require additional support, such as emotional regulation and language development. Staff skilfully implement strategies and provide resources to help these children feel safe and secure.
The new owners have invested time in supporting staff to feel included in decisions about the future of the nursery, such as the new outdoor 'forest' area. Children exclaim with joy and excitedly ask staff to come and see how well their friends are doing on the obstacle course.
I could not thank this nursery enough for all the help my daughter got. It's really prepared her for school. She is a very anxious child and never wanted to speak to anyone before. But her confidence was built up here, she will go off and play with other children now whereas before she wouldn't and she is just so happy. She always talks about her nursery still and her friends at nursery, and now she has started primary and she is so happy. Thank you for everything.
