Opening hours

30pm, offering both all-year-round and term-time places for children aged 0-4 years. Children arrive happy and are warmly greeted by enthusiastic staff, confidently exploring the safe, spacious, and well-resourced environment.
Staff carefully monitor each child's unique needs and progress, planning ambitious next steps to ensure all children thrive and are well-prepared for future learning. The nursery follows The Curiosity Approach ethos, which encourages children to become engrossed in their chosen activities and persevere.
Mathematical development is a strength, with staff effectively integrating teaching opportunities into play, such as encouraging counting during imaginative treasure hunts. The nursery prioritises communication skills, with staff engaging children in rich conversations and expressive story reading, and also offers weekly Spanish sessions.
The setting has developed strong partnerships with families, particularly impacting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with parents highly recommending the nursery for its approachable staff and informative online updates. While children enjoy running outdoors, riding bikes, and practicing yoga, staff are working on making better use of the grassed outdoor space to further extend learning, children's well-being, understanding of nature, and creative imagination.
Children's behaviour is consistently good; they demonstrate independence by pouring drinks, putting on coats, and washing their own hands.

Inclusion & environment
Staff and families have developed strong partnerships, which impacts hugely on all children, especially those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Children enjoy running outdoors, riding bikes and practising yoga. However, staff do not make best use of the grassed outdoor space to extend children's learning further, meaning children's well-being, understanding of nature and creative imagination are not always supported to their full potential.
Inskip Pre-School is a fantastic place for your child. The ladies running have a wealth of experience and are always staying up to date with, if not ahead, of all the EYFS. My son attended the pre-school and my daughter is preparing to leave. I will be sorry not to be a part of pre-school life any more. I have always felt happy leaving my children and my children have always been more than happy to stay. The facilities at the pre-school are fantastic. Whatever your child likes doing then either it or something like it will be there. Every child is treated as an individual yet made to feel part of the Inskip pre-school family. The outside area has been very well developed over the past year, There is large climbing equipment, a wild area for exploring, a river bed for exploring water, a construction and digging area, a real boat and much, much more. I would highly recommend sending your children to Inskip Pre-School.
Read on GoogleMrs Phillips & her team at Inskip Pre School were nothing short of amazing for the short time we were with them. I live in Singapore, and returned back to the UK on a temporary basis due to the ill health of my father. Not knowing how long we were back for, I wanted my 3 year old to have continuity in her development, I contacted Inskip Pre School to see if they could accommodate my daughter on a temporary basis and they were brilliant in every way. From the first phone call, to sending out forms, my daughter's first day through to her last they were professional, caring & compassionate. My daughter loved every minute with Mrs Phillips & her team. This is a fantastic school & I highly recommend it to anyone.
Read on GoogleFor a number of years I was very unhappy with the provision of care and learning for my eldest child (then 2); when I finally approached my friends for advice on the issue, each one of gave me similar accounts of the fantastic provision available at Inskip Pre-School. Visiting the school for a look round was to date the best move I could of made on behalf of my now 5 year old child, and the sibling who now also uses the school. Both of my children have enjoyed going to the pre-school; their friends and teachers are talked about in the highest regard at all times. The structure of the learning and variance of activities still amazes me, and my children can talk in outstanding detail of the topics they have learned about and find each day very exciting and engaging. Thank you Inskip for doing all the things I would of loved to introduce my children to, but have been unable to due to work. Your dedication, professionalism and resourcefulness are outstanding! Read on GoogleThe are few places where you can leave your prescious loved ones and walk away happy and confident that they are being cared for, nurtured and stimulated. However, Inskip Pre-school is such a place. Stepping foot into the school simply lifts the spirits and you can't help feeling the enthusiasm and positive attitude of the staff and indeed the other children. There is a fantastic mixture of personalities of staff, all with different qualities to share, and for the children to benefit from. The Pre-school itself is expertly equipped with such things as a quiet room, train table, water play, "home play", library and lots more. The outdoor area is amazing. There's a sandpit, dry river bed, fortress, chill out area, a meadow with new trees and even a retired boat! This school has not been assessed as being ofsted outstanding for no reason. It is absolutely awesome.
