SEND provision

Leaders support staff to identify where children may be falling behind in their learning and take action to help them keep up. Staff work well with outside agencies. Additional funding is used effectively to provide the targeted resources and experiences some children require to thrive and develop. All children make good progress.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed staff interaction with children during activities indoors and outdoors and assessed the impact this has on children's learning.

Our daughter joined Maggie & Rose in November 2022 she was only 6 months old. The staff and management were welcoming to my family and caring to our little one. Every day she is happy to go to the nursery and see the same faces :). I trust the lovely staff like in a family environment Additionally, we receive regular updates through Famly Ap as well as daily pickup. Management responds promptly to all administrative questions, either via AP or face-to-face. A nice community seems to be growing around Maggie & Rose Islington.

My daughter's went here from when it first opened. This review is based on the staff! We left because we had to move home to Australia. My eldest daughter still talks about her teachers Nacho, Barbara, Serena and Lasharn. She misses them terribly. They've obviously had such a lasting positive impact on her because she still talks about them and how much she misses them. The staff who work directly with the children at M&R make this nursery what it is. There was a lovely feeling of community, which we don't have at my daughter's new daycare. Nadine and Zainep in the baby room were both so caring and lovely to my youngest. We miss you all.

We have been with M&R Islington since it opened and have had two very happy children there. It is a very warm and nurturing environment and our daughter (two) is so confident in the space. She adores the people who look after her day to day and we have a huge amount of respect for them as childcarers and educators. They are flexible with our needs and always happy to discuss anything with us e.g. potty training. We have signed up our third child!
