Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks of the year. Sessions are from 7.30am to 6pm.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough - my son has had the best care from the get go and I am so happy we chose Ivy House. The regular in house events are a great way to see what the children get up to and how happy and comfortable they are in their environment. The staff go above and beyond and I am always so impressed with the activities they do on a daily basis. I feel the nursery is very inclusive and always welcoming input. My son can’t wait to get there and he is always leaving happy. A wonderful nursery that I would recommend far and wide.

I couldn't imagine our daughter anywhere else. All the staff know her and make her feel so special - I know this feeling is shared! Our daughter has a great time every day and always comes to the door at the end of the day with a beaming smile. The staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. We get daily updates as to what the children have been up to and how it focuses on key themes and topics The nursery is very pro-active to make necessary changes, even if the reason for the such change has come from something that has happened elsewhere. I love this. Signs of a. Well managed nursery I think I am finding it very difficult to fault Ivy House. Thank you for everything.

Ivy House is such a lovely nursery. My son is so happy there — he has so much fun every day and always comes home smiling. The staff are all really loving and caring; they make the kids feel truly loved and organise lovely events that make the whole family feel welcome. The garden is amazing — it’s the only nursery in the area with such a big outdoor space, and the kids absolutely love it. They get loads of time outside, which I really appreciate. The indoor space is also great: plenty of toys, sensory activities, and it’s always tidy and clean. They do lots of learning, but in a fun and playful way, and the food is great too! They provide plenty of pictures during the day and give a form with all the details of their day at pick up time.

I moved my son to Ivy house after a bad experience somewhere else. The staff are very reassuring, transparent, very approachable and fantastic communication. They’ve been so supportive with my sons speech delay and it’s apparent it’s not ‘just a job’ to the staff, they look after the children like they were their own. My child went from crying and refusing to go into the other nursery to running into Ivy house and becoming the happiest and confident boy. They have amazing resources, a massive garden and have days out in Altrincham, learning about their local community. I know we’re going to be heartbroken saying goodbye this year when my son starts school. I really recommend this nursery, wish we put our son in Ivy house from the get go

Ivy house, formerly Narnia, has looked after my two young daughters for over 4 years combined. Last year there was a blip in their otherwise outstanding performance. A change of manager and some staff adjustments resulted in a little loss in confidence. However, the latest manager Katie has managed to turn things around (no doubt with the support of some excellent longstanding staff - special mention to my girls' support from Karen and Aimee) and my younger daughter left this summer and it was a very sad day for us all. A place like Ivy House is only as good as the people who work there and right now the people who work there are top notch. If I had any more children to send to nursery I wouldn't hesitate in sending them here also.
