How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive very good support. Staff's assessment of children, along with information from parents, is used to develop a detailed record of each child's development stage. This supports the team to make early identification of any gaps in children's attainment. The team is quick to invoke early action. They develop individual plans for each child's learning to target the areas where children need support to make the best possible progress.

Outdoor space

Younger children have access to play, both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, children develop their large muscles as they climb and negotiate the steps to the slide. They follow simple rules to keep themselves safe. Children smile and laugh as they say 'ready, steady, go', and move down the slide confidently.

Do not send your here if they have any kind of SEN needs, the nursery ignore their needs and just cut your childs hours. They didn't get involved with any of my childs autism assessment, they ignored any instructions from her specialist to give my daughter help. And they refused to contact the IDS as was instructed by my daughters specialists. my daughter was there for a year but i could hardly get her to go she was just traumatised. I pulled my daughter out of this nursery because she had began self harming by the age of 4 this disgusting place where meant to help my daughter get ready for starting school but instead her needs was fully ignored. When i complained that my daughter hadnt had a drink all day instead of helping my daughter drink because she doesnt recognise her needs the old woman they call nanny would just tip my daughter drink down the sink at the end of the day so it looked like she had drunk it. Im so glad my daughter can talk to me!! And tell me what was going on. Im not the only mother of a sen child thats had this experience, we all still talk about our childs horrific experience at this nursery. My daughter is now at nethersole school and is thriving with all the educational support and care that she needs . It has take 12 months to see a smile on my daughters face again. If you care about your SEN child DO NOT send them here x
