Jemima House Day Nursery, located within the Ermine Street Church Academy in Alconbury Weald, offers a nurturing environment for children from birth to five years old. Celebrating its seventh year, the nursery focuses on providing a stimulating and safe space where children can thrive and achieve their full potential.
The facility boasts a modern, bespoke design with beautifully equipped indoor and outdoor areas tailored to offer diverse learning opportunities for all three age groups: Little Chicks, Ducklings, and Swans. Inclusion & environment
Staff provide strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), who make good progress with their learning and development. The inspector spoke to staff about how they support children with SEND.
Staff provide opportunities for children of different ages to socialise with each other outside. Outside, children use ride-on toys. Leaders are planning on further developing the outside area. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
