Jumping Jo's Day Nursery, established in 2016, moved into a new bespoke setting in November 2024. Located at William Leigh House, 15 Walsall Street, Bilston, WV14 0AT, the nursery supports children's development from infancy through to preschool age.

It focuses on fostering independence and essential life skills through various activities, including local explorations like visiting the library and nearby forested areas, and interacting with community events in Bilston town centre. The nursery heavily integrates stories, singing, and play into daily routines, ensuring children engage in key group activities tailored to their developmental needs.

Recognised as a 'Communication Friendly Setting' since May 2022, Jumping Jo's Day Nursery is committed to enhancing language development. The nursery has a strong leadership team, with the owner and manager, Nicky, possessing extensive childcare experience and a degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Stacey, the deputy manager, an Outstanding Early Years Teacher with 18 years of experience, leads special educational needs coordination and speech and language support. The staff continually engage in professional development, with some pursuing higher qualifications to better support the diverse needs of the children.

Pricing & funding

Charges are based on full day, full week, morning, or afternoon sessions, with additional fees for early starts or extra hours. Funded children are charged meal fees depending on their funding hours, though parents can choose to bring a free packed lunch instead.

Best Nursery! Both my boys thrive at this nursery, There development has come on so much. They are both so happy to go to nursery. The communication is above expectations, I never have to worry when my children are at nursery. I would recommend this nursery to everyone☺️

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 My son did take a good while to settle in due to the lock down and him having separation anxiety but he was always fine after a few minutes once the staff had carmed him down and I honestly could not recommend jumping jos enough they really do go above and beyond for the children they always keep you up to date on how hes getting on at nursery and my son now has a great relationship with all the staff especially Anna Jordan and becky. He's learn so much in so little time so thank you Nicky and Stacey have really done an amazing job with this nursery well done lady's 👏
