Inclusion & environment
Staff work in partnership with parents and professionals to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who require additional help. Local referral procedures are followed to promptly request additional support. Children with programmes or targets, such as from speech and language therapists, have strategies incorporated into planned activities to ensure that they make progress.
As the nursery does not have a garden, children enjoy daily opportunities to go for walks in the local community. They are encouraged to hold hands or to use the walking rope to stay together when outside. Older children join in discussions about what they have seen with their friends when they return to the nursery.
We are absolutely delighted with the nursery my son attended. The staff are truly exceptional - caring, understanding, and skilled at handling challenging situations. During the initial settling-in period, they were particularly supportive, making drop-offs much smoother for both my son and me. Initially, my son took some time to adjust and settle in,but soon grew to love attending nursery every day. The staff's dedication and nurturing approach made all the difference. We were very impressed with the daily observations and daily diary updates. We received photos of the activitoes done in school almost everyday . This is something which we didnt experience in other nursery my son attended. Another good thinh is the oitdoor time ! Because they dont have an outdoor area, I appreciate the emphasis of taking the kids out for a walk everyday and to the park during the summer time. This made sure they received a balance of both indoor and outdoor time , which is really great. We also loved attending their events - sports day and graduation day which was so well organised and both the kids and parents enjoyed thoroughly. I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging environment for their child. A special thank you to Mr. Keval, Miss Maria, Miss Silva, Miss Kamini, Miss Vini, and the entire staff for their hard work and care. We're truly grateful for the wonderful experience they've provided for our son.
Read on GoogleThis nursery has recently come into kew management in the last couple of years, and the staff (along with owner Keval) are amazing! Miss Jade is a wonderfully bubbky character, and Ms Maria is a very experienced member of staff. Easy to talk to and they really care for the kids. I love the introduction of the uniform too, super cute! Key workers keep me updated with what my little one has been up to on Tapestry, with detailed write ups and pictures. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended this nursery for almost two years, and we only had to leave because we moved. The nursery is wonderful, and absolutely all the teachers are amazing. They were incredibly caring during her settling-in period, and after that there wasn’t a single day when she didn’t want to go to nursery. When she first started, she didn’t speak any English at all – not a single word – and this was never a problem for the nursery. On the contrary, with their support and patience, she learned the language while being there. I especially loved the daily updates with photos. I always knew what my daughter had been doing throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I am also very grateful for the communication — the management team was always helpful and accommodating whenever I needed to adjust her hours, book additional sessions, or deal with any unexpected situations. There was always a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the teachers always found time to talk to us personally and share her progress. Now my daughter attends another nursery, but she still says that Kangaroo Kids was the best.
Read on GoogleThe nursery is so good. The teachers are fantastic and helpful. The teachers get the kids involve in all type of activities and take them out. The nursery has an app which they post photos of your child and writes what they have done everyday.
Read on GoogleMy son joined this nursery earlier in the year and we are really pleased with care facility. The staff are wonderful, kind, fully engaged with the children, and welcoming to parents concerns. We only had six months with them as my child will start school in Sept, but already we have been fortunate enough to participate in some nursery events like graduation day and sports day. We will be sending our second child there when he is old enough. The nursery communicates via the app and also whatsapp and text messages which makes busy lives easy. The manager is also friendly and has a child/parent care and interest approach unlike other nurseries where they manage the nursery just as a business. They have a vast variety of play and learning facilities, plus despite not having an outdoor garden or playground, they take the time to walk to children to different park playgrounds and teach along the route. A wonderful little nursery. Thank you Kangaroo Kids & all the staff and manager
