What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents share how they feel highly involved in their children's nursery and their views and opinions are truly valued by the staff team.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children make fantastic progress from their starting points. Staff have very high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND). Staff swiftly implement personalised interventions through focused teaching to enable all children equal access to the curriculum, ensuring gaps are closed quickly and children make continued progress. The manager and her team have a secure understanding of the needs of children with SEND and work collaboratively with other professionals, swiftly applying for additional funding so children receive highly focused support. As a result, children with SEND make incredible progress and are more than ready to move on to their next stage of learning.

Outdoor space

Children safely use real tools to whittle sticks in the garden. Children freely explore the outside space, where they take risks as they climb on large tractor tyres. Children independently collect their sun hats and regularly drink water to keep themselves hydrated as they play.

I don't recommend this Swing field nursery for babies. The supervisor was very unfriendly and cold, my baby didn't enjoy her. I found her rude and harsh to other children. There were some excellent staff but sadly the supervisor made me, and I know now , other parents and babies uncomfortable. I did not feel she was good for early year care and luckily we were able to get a place elsewhere. The room was grim, dark, small with few windows. I would urge you to consider another baby nursery.

Can only leave a minimum of 1 star or I would leave none. Where do I start? Constantly over charging with incorrect invoices that I had to check every single time as they were sometimes hundreds of pounds out. No reasons given for that or satisfactory apology. Accidents not reported. Incinuations of abuse at home. Very unfriendly management staff and key worker. They lie about taking the children out all the time. They do not. They will try to charge you if you are 5mins early or late...for a whole session. Uncaring poorly structured learning, if any. Do not let them feed their in-house food to your child. It is slop! Avoid this establishment at all costs they will not give your child the nurturing and care its deserves.

Congratulations to all staff on gaining an outstanding rating from Ofsted. I fully agree with them and my granddaughter Mollie is very lucky to have a place there.
