My daughter started at Kiddie Capers in Lewes a while ago now and we honestly couldn't be happier.
It's her first nursery setting (she's 1) and at first she struggled with the separation and change to her routine, as kids always do, but the staff were so attentive and reassuring and went out of their way to help her settle in. In a matter of weeks the difference was amazing and she is now really loving it there. My older child has attended three different nurseries, and this is by far the best experience of starting at a new nursery we have ever had.
The team are always really communicative, sending regular updates (especially when she was first attending, to let us know if she was struggling and later to reassure us that she was having fun!), but we never feel spammed with unnecessary information. They are also really sensitive to parents, and seem to understand that it's a big transition for us as well, in a way previous nurseries have seemed quite oblivious to! For example, they gave me a little care package of tissues, chocolate, a tea bag and a poem on her first full day so that I could have a cuppa and a cry if needed! And they've also provided (optional) uniform and a welcome toy free of charge which is a nice touch. They've also been very accommodating about her hours and sessions, even after we had an admin problem with our funded hours and had to change them last minute.
Our daughter seems well bonded to her key worker but also to the other staff as well, who are all lovely and very welcoming, and they do lots of fun activities with the kids and take them on different outings every day.
I wish Kiddie Capers Lewes had been open when my older child was of nursery age, and we are already planning on sending our third baby there too! Can't have much higher praise than that.

Cannot recommend Kiddie Capers enough!
My daughter started a few months ago and with the help of the amazing staff has settled so quickly.
They have an amazing app that sends daily updates and pictures of what they are getting up to which is lovely to see.
My daughter had never been left with anyone before starting this nursery and she settled in so well that she even sometimes forgets to say bye.
The staff are genuinely so kind and caring with the children, the activities and stimulation the children get is incredible!
I feel so lucky to have found this nursery, with its amazing staff and set up I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing place for your little one to thrive in 😊

Kiddie Capers is a fantastic nursery, my son loves his time there and I feel he gets to enjoy so many different activities whilst he is there, they are always doing something different and off on crazy adventures when the go off site. I am very well informed of all he gets up to with the ap they use to communicate with parents and I feel very comfortable leaving him in the staffs capable hands. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful and have time to answer any questions you may have. Overall I highly recommend this nursery

My 15 month olds first day at kiddie capers has been brilliant so far! The team kept me updated throughout the day, which made leaving her so much easier! Huge thanks to Lisa and Phoebe for making us both feel relaxed and welcome. Highly recommend! 👏🏻

I would wholeheartedly recommend kiddie Capers in Lewes, lovely newly renovated building, lovely facilities and brilliant staff. The children are stimulated with different types of craft imaginative and building play each day as well as getting some fresh air out and about. Having experienced other nurseries in Lewes I feel a lot more comfortable with this provider and the level of communication is brilliant.
