Pippa's Group is a nursery dedicated to providing a rich and stimulating curriculum that fosters confidence, focus, and social skills in children. They incorporate a Forest School programme which encourages safe risk-taking and outdoor learning, while also promoting an awareness of the natural world and community.
The nursery operates with high staff-to-child ratios and, as a charity, offers support to children with additional needs. They pride themselves on promoting play and supporting families, ensuring children develop strong academic and social-emotional foundations.
The nursery also places a strong emphasis on healthy eating and physical activity, viewing both as crucial for lifelong well-being. They encourage children to develop a positive attitude towards food and healthy lifestyles through various activities, including planting, growing, and cooking.
Furthermore, Pippa's Group provides a free-flow environment that allows children to choose when they engage in outdoor play, aiming for a minimum of 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per session to support their physical potential and overall development.

Parents describe the manager and staff as 'great'.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. The special educational needs coordinator identifies children who need extra support promptly. She works with parents and other professionals to create individualised plans to support their learning and development, both at home and in the nursery. As a result, children make good progress across all areas of learning.
Children enjoy spending time playing outside. They develop their gross motor skills as they negotiate spaces, riding bicycles and scooters while making their own obstacle course. They learn to take age-appropriate risks and keep themselves safe as they engage in woodwork with staff.
