Kiddies Corner Day Care in Herne Bay is a childcare setting established in 2013, offering a warm and stimulating environment for children aged 0-4 years. The curriculum is varied, catering to individual needs and learning styles. Toddlers develop physical skills outdoors on ride-on bicycles and various equipment, while older children practise independence, like using stairs and cutting vegetables for the resident African land snail.

Staff skillfully support communication, language development, and the needs of younger children, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and those with English as an additional language. An independent speech and language therapist works closely with practitioners and parents to create targeted individual learning plans for children with SEND.

Children are encouraged to be confident and independent, selecting their own activities and exploring the outdoors, learning about nature, and managing risks. Parents value the daily communication from staff, receiving regular updates and ideas for continued learning at home.
