Kiddies Kingdom, a childcare setting for children aged 1 to 4 years in Luton, was established in 2017. The nursery currently "Requires Improvement" according to its latest Ofsted inspection on November 12, 2025.
The inspecton highlighted several areas for improvement, particularly regarding leadership's understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and their impact on children's safety and welfare. Leaders do not consistently account for the needs and abilities of all children, especially during curriculum delivery for youngsters with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SENDs) and those who speak English as an additional language (EAL).
In addition, relationships with parents are ineffective in promoting regular attendance at the setting, hindering children from accessing their full educational entitlement. Despite such necessary improvements, children at Kiddies Kingdom are observed to enjoy their learning environment and activities.
They are able to engage in both planned activities and free-play opportunities, fostering positive social interactions with peers and staff. For example, young children enjoy creating meals with real fruits and vegetables in their role-play kitchen, while older children engage in cosy story sessions with staff.
The staff also adapt the outdoor space effectively to promote children's physical development, encouraging activities like splashing in water for babies and creating obstacle courses for older children.
What it's like

They do not routinely consider the needs, experiences, and abilities of all children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, when delivering an appropriate curriculum. Relationships with parents are ineffective at promoting children's attendance, hindering children from accessing their full entitlement of early education.

Inspector highlights
Areas to develop
Inclusion & environment
Leaders do not take swift enough action to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The key-person system is not fully effective, as leaders do not always consider children's best interests or the responsibility of the key person when assigning children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Leaders and staff adapt the outdoor space well to promote children's physical development. Staff encourage babies to splash their hands in water, while older children develop their coordination by creating their own obstacle courses to complete.
Staff in the pre-school room do not provide rich opportunities for all children to develop their communication skills. They do not adapt their teaching and interactions to promote the language skills and develop the vocabulary of children who speak English as an additional language. Children who speak English as an additional language do not get the best possible learning, as staff do not adapt their teaching to encourage discussions or model new vocabulary.
My daughter has been going here for about 6 months and she absolutely loves it here. The staff are great and so nice, and I always feel at ease when I drop her off. I always know what's happening and how my daughter is getting on throughout the day, staff update the app which includes info on food/water intake, sleep and also pictures. Would recommend to any mums with little ones. Also FYI this is a nursery and not a buggy shop.
Read on GoogleAmazing nursery! They have been brilliant with my son and the staff are really good with him! Thank you for your support
Read on GoogleDO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY, SCAM!! After ordering a 3 piece furniture set and mattress I was finally given a delivery date. Myself and a family member took the day off work unpaid to recieve the delivery. The delivery did not arrive on the day they specifief. When I phoned up, I was told to contact the courier. After been given the run around i was told my items were not even loaded onto the delivery van. Nobody had contacted me and I lost a days wages. I was told they would deliver Saturday however I would have to pay the delivery charge. After arguing this, they agreed they would not charge me. On the saturday my items arrived, all except the mattress. I phoned back the Monday and spoke to Sole who could not explain why any of the issues occurred and said my mattress would be delivered the next day. All the items for sale can be found on Amazon and cheaper. This company is a rip off with terrible customer service. They have not given an explanation nor compensation. DO NOT USE
Read on GoogleAwful. Ordered a clip on buggy for our toddler. Took our money and promised a next day delivery even sending us DPD notification only to retract it the morning after. Five days on and still nothing. We have a toddler and a newborn that can't be taken out together by their mother after weeks of being locked indoors because of this. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHARLATANS. You have been warned.
Read on GoogleBought a car seat and offered next day delivery. Didn't happen. Reordered for delivery again and didn't arrive again. Still waiting. To have 2 failed to deliver orders is ridiculous. So will now wait to see if it ever arrives.......
