Inclusion & environment
Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress.
Children have regular outdoor play throughout the day. They enjoy manoeuvring the trikes around the play area and building their core strength by balancing on boards. They use the physical development session to jump, hop and stretch their bodies.
Very happy with Kido Chiswick. The staff are genuinely caring. My little one is obsessed with the her teachers and the deputy manager. As a first time parent, dropping off my baby to nursery I feel really content and truly trust the team to take care my little one !overall it's a great place for the children early education.
Read on GoogleDisgraceful. For the wellbeing of your kid and your peace of mind, AVOID. Our kid had a severe accident due to staff negligence. Taking the kid covered in blood is not something you want to experience. Staff had no clue about what happened. All documented on our side. Zero empathy, they took days watching cameras to discover what happened and refused to show us (to protect the privacy of the teachers (??), which is funny after what happened the de data breach). Just told us that “accidents can happen” and to engage with a lawyer if we were not satisfied with the answer. They are very strict in asking for money for everything… you are a couple of minutes late and you get invoiced a late fee. I can continue with examples. Not a place where you want to leave your kids if you care about them. Most staff members are good, but due to bad management they keep changing every few months so there is zero continuity. Teachers can be amazing one month and disappear month after and be replaced with temporary caretakers for the rest of the year. To be factual: Kido provided ZERO support, unless you call a story-book "emotional support". Refused to show the videos, claiming that they would only show to a lawyer. Within the limit of confidentiality I would love to copy paste here some emails... where the manager basically said “being sorry, accidents happen and kido takes no responsibility unless a lawyer demands so, the fact that teachers might not oversee kids the whole time is acceptable for kido since he was in the older "pathfinder" class, and that if I am not comfortable to stay I can opt to move our son to a different nursery with the normal contractual notice period". Not sure what they mean with "support". Denying something happened in front of a kid whose face is covered in blood? giving a story-book to normalize the situation? Can we be serious for once please?
