Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive good levels of targeted support. Staff engage well with parents and other professionals to identify clear targets to support good outcomes. Staff use visual prompts and sign language effectively to help children to feel settled and understand the routines. As a result, children with SEND make good progress.
All children have access to the outdoor environment daily. They navigate space well and use the resources available to develop their coordination and balance. This supports children's physical health and well-being.
We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s nursery experience! It has exceeded our expectations in so many ways, especially compared to our son’s previous nursery. This js definitely the best nursery in the area. While the onboarding process wasn’t great at first, the team quickly turned things around and has been amazing ever since. The staff is absolutely lovely, and it’s clear they genuinely care for the children. Our daughter loves going in every day, and we’ve been so impressed with the engaging activities and well-organized events. Another aspect we really appreciate is the open and welcoming environment—being able to pick up our daughter from the classroom or garden and see her in action is a wonderful touch. Overall, we’re extremely happy with this nursery and highly recommend it to other parents!
Read on GoogleWe've tried out three nurseries in Tooting over the last few years and Kido is simply outstanding. Management and teachers are brilliant, forming relationships quickly, the building has been completely redone and the rooms are beautiful, and the thing we really appreciate is the extensive feedback on our son's progress. We get detailed reports on his progress every month, weekly updates with dozens of photos, and daily chats at pickup. We could not be happier.
Read on GoogleGood at keeping parents updated with latest news and information. I was however disappointed my daughter never settled. She would later confined in me when she was a bit older and more verbal that Alex (lady with low cut hair was very mean to her). Patrice was amazing! Update - I withheld my name for security purposes but my review is 100 percent accurate. How else would I know names of the nursery teachers? My LO said Alex was really mean to her. It’s easy to forget children grow up and become more verbal to express themselves. Take the review as you will my child no longer attends there so out of harms way.
Read on GoogleIf I could give Kido Tooting a six star review I would. We are absolutely delighted with this nursery, they are so professional and caring. I genuinely feel they provide such a rounded experience; the children experience personal responsibility and a wide range of creative learning activities. All of the room leaders are fantastic and I am so pleased my children are happy here.
Read on GoogleSuper deserved 5 star review here and If I could give another star, I would xD It's been almost one year now that my eldest son attend Kïdo Tooting and we are really impressed with the staff commitment towards the kids development and education. The whole family is often involved in the wonderful Kïdo initiatives and this gave us the opportunity to get to know and to bond with other families too. Also we get every month detail report with the goals that our son has reached and what he needs to still work on. Really well done!
