Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) extremely well. They identify children's individual needs and barriers to learning swiftly and make sensitive adaptations to the curriculum and routines to support children very effectively. Children make rapid progress as they work towards targets set by speech and language therapists or physiotherapists.

Outdoor space

At times, children disengage when activities do not take account of their interests. For example, they run in the garden with little focus because staff have not reflected their interests in the outdoor learning spaces. Some older children lack focus in the outdoor area because the environment does not support their fascinations.

EAL / language support
