About this day nursery

30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Established in 2023, the nursery provides a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and secure, allowing them to grow and develop.

The dedicated staff are aspirational for the children, planning wide-ranging learning opportunities that foster positive attitudes towards learning. Children cultivate a strong sense of self and confidence, as highlighted by the "Good" rating from their latest Ofsted inspection on 6th September 2023.

The curriculum is fun and stimulating, encouraging children to explore new activities such as searching for spiders and insects in the garden. Older children engage in outdoor learning, safely using climbing equipment and wheeled resources, which supports their physical development and teaches them to take risks.

Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is carefully considered, with staff working closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure continuous support and guidance, enabling children to make steady progress. The nursery also places a strong emphasis on developing independence, fostering a "can-do" attitude in children as they learn to feed and dress themselves and tidy up.

Thanks to everyone at Teddy bears for looking after my daughter, Emily. My daughter attended preschool at Teddy bears and I couldn't have asked for a better responsive, caring team. The staff in preschool have built up my daughter's confidence and have a great relationship with the kids. It's always hard to trust other people with your little ones, but they made it easier for me. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone .. 5 stars

My son started Teddy Bears nursery in September 2017, he had previously been to another local nursery since he was a baby, but they no longer do the wrap around care with the local nursery school. I was amazed by how tight the security was to get in, the staff are approachable and lovely, my little boy loves coming here and wants to come even on his days off.

Both of my children have attended teddy bears from being 9 months old. Deciding who to leave your baby with is so hard and the mum guilt is awful but teddy bears always make it easy. My children always come home happy and now that my eldest is in preschool he always has lots to tell me about his day and things he's learnt pop up randomly as we go about our family life. I'm really pleased I chose teddy bears and I'm truly thankful to the staff for the care they give my children.

I have loved my son being in this nursery since he was 2 years old. He is now 4 and wouldn’t have him anywhere else! The staff are amazing the montesori work is great. He is now in pre school and the staff who look after him are very attentive and kind and caring! And the food is beautiful. And the managers go out of there way to help you if needed as theyhave in the past for myself.
