About this day nursery

Kids Planet Linacre Road, established in 2005, operates as a childcare setting on non-domestic premises, offering care for children aged 0-4 years. " Children confidently transition from their parents to engage with friends in the well-organised indoor and outdoor spaces.

The curriculum is ambitious for all children, with a strong focus on communication and language development, supported by staff trained to enhance their expertise in this area. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are quickly identified and well-supported to access the same curriculum, ensuring good progress for all.

The nursery fosters a love of reading and books, and staff integrate counting and mathematical language into daily play. Outdoor learning is a significant part of the children's experience; they arrange pebbles to form numbers in the outdoor classroom and cultivate vegetables in the garden, with a recently acquired local allotment further expanding their gardening opportunities.

The nursery also organises local trips and visits, including train journeys to the beach and litter-picking in parks, to develop children's understanding of community and active citizenship. Parents are well-informed about their child's progress and next steps, and the nursery offers useful advice, such as on tooth brushing, providing free toothbrushes and toothpaste.

I would never recommend this nursery. My son attended and came home bruised after every session. Failed ofsted report online from 2022. Unsafe place should be shut down. Staff not trained, broken toys, unhygienic.. you name it, that’s on it. Read it for yourself before sending your precious babies here
