From the moment children arrive, they are greeted by their key person, ensuring they feel safe and settle quickly, eager for their learning to begin. The staff effectively support children's language development, encouraging a wide range of vocabulary use, from babies babbling during songs to older children using mathematical language.

The nursery excels in promoting physical development, with babies learning to stand and older children enjoying daily exercise sessions to learn different ways to move their bodies. Children learn to play cooperatively, take turns, and understand how to keep themselves safe.

The management team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and learning, fostering a culture of reflective practice among staff. The nursery has robust SEND provision, with staff receiving specific training and closely liaising with outside agencies, such as specialist teachers, to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

They use strategies like visual prompts to help children manage changes in routine. Following the pandemic, the nursery made an effort to incorporate more outdoor learning and local community visits.

Staff also promote children's health and well-being, encouraging increasing independence, from feeding themselves to developing good oral hygiene habits.

Consequently, children immediately show they feel safe, secure and they settle quickly. Children thoroughly enjoy their time at the nursery.
