WOW!
Where do I begin, my little boy finished his journey at Kids Planet this week from being there from 9 months old to now being nearly 4!
He has so many amazing memories, made lots of friends and most importantly he's come on leaps and bounds with the help from the staff! He made lovely relationships with the staff and it was so emotional seeing him saying bye to everyone!
From Baby Room to Pre school room all the staff have been exceptional and made the experience of nursery one of the best, I know when I left him he would be safe and well looked after and wow was he!
I really don't know what we'll do without the staff at Kids Planet, they became more like a second family to us!
I just want to say a massive thank you to Porsche, Mia, Steph and Laura W for being some of the most amazing ladies with him and being some of the best key workers he could have had!
We will definitely miss Kids Planet!

I would like to share my honest experience after my child attended this nursery for almost two years.
Unfortunately, from the beginning we did not feel welcomed by some of the staff. Communication with the teachers was not warm or supportive, which made it difficult for us to feel comfortable leaving our child there.
Another major issue was with the finance department which is not reliable.Just before Christmas we suddenly received a bill of around £2,500, even though our child was eligible for the 30 hours free childcare funding. We were repeatedly contacted by email (sometimes twice a week) asking us to pay the bill and then claim the money back from Wakefield Council, which caused us a lot of stress and confusion.
From an educational perspective, we also felt disappointed. Over the two years our child attended, we did not see much progress in learning or structured activities. It seemed that the children were mainly being supervised rather than actively taught.
More concerning was our child’s emotional response. She often cried and scared when it was time to go to nursery and said she did not like it there. Even after leaving, she told us that some tutors would shout at the children. One evening she repeated the words “shut up” with a hand gesture over her mouth and explained that a tutor had said this to another child !
The difference after moving to another nursery has been very noticeable. Within just two weeks, our child is happy to go, has learned songs and poems, and has even started writing letters. This change has reassured us that the previous environment was not the right one for her.
We are honestly very sad that we didn’t make this change earlier and hope it doesn’t effect in her future.Just i wanted to say thank you to Stephany (tutor)who cares about everyone and she was the only person helped my child a lot.
I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, financial transparency, and the learning environment for children in kids planet.
