We finally pulled our son out today. My son attended Kids Planet The Triangle through Oxford University placement. The teachers and day-to-day staff were kind, but the management was utterly incompetent, especially around safeguarding and communication. A major issue was the no-tailgating policy, which only caused inconvenience for parents but offered no real security. The rule is enforced by having a staff member sit by the door, visually recognise each parent, and then buzz them in. This system is not reliable and there is no physical barrier to stop someone who tailgates through the main door from moving further into the building. When I asked the nursery manager Kerrie, what the nursery would actually do to stop an intruder, she told me she would “try my best” — which is not a defined or safe safeguarding procedure. When I escalated this to the Area Manager Andrea, he wrote that “the correct procedure does not expect staff to physically intervene with an intruder,” confirming that Kerrie’s answer was wrong. Yet after several follow-up emails, no actual intruder-containment procedure was ever provided. Instead of addressing the concern, both Kerrie and Andrea pushed us out by restricting my access and suggesting we “leave earlier.” The internal door PIN, which becomes the only real safeguard, is shared by all families because the door hardware only supports one single PIN. It had not been changed for months and did not match the code in the Famly app — making the “second layer of security” ineffective. I later discovered that Ofsted carried out a compliance visit in September 2025 and found the nursery was not meeting some of the required standards, specifically that risk assessments were not robust and staff required additional training to follow safety procedures during children’s transitions around the setting. This aligned with our bad experience.

Do not send your child here if you value their safety and wellbeing. They don't file accident report forms if your child gets hurt there, and they will lie and stir drama between separated parents to cause conflict betweeen them which causes harm to children. When my daugher was being physically abused by her mother they didn't tell me and I only found out months later through court that they knew about it. When my daughter was telling the nursery that her mother is "going to kill her" and that her mother was "going to kill [her brother]" the nursery never told me at first and I only found out through court. Yet they never reported this or the physical abuse of an infant child to social services, but when my daughter allegedly said that her mother takes all my money they phoned social services the same day - they were phoning social services every day to try and aid the mother in her intent to deny our children contact with their father but covered up the physical and emotional and psychological abuse of my daughter. It is a very dangerous place to send a child if you are a separated parent, they will lie, hide child abuse, and stir drama that causes court proceedings to drag out for years, causing harm to your children. I have had to report to Ofsted several times for blatant malpractice to protect future children from the harm that the malpractice of this nursery. I am considering taking legal action to save children from this gross malpractice in the future.

Could not recommend this nursery enough. The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about the well-being of children. They always take time for parents as well and make sure everything is in order.

Triangle nursery staff have been wonderful. They genuinely are so caring and reassuring I would not hesitate to recommend them. Management are helpful and approachable. Very happy with them.
