Kids Planet Wallasey Nursery, established in 2018, operates as a childcare setting on non-domestic premises, catering specifically for children aged 0-2 years. The nursery provides an exceptional and inspiring environment, thoughtfully designed as a dedicated baby unit.

Children flourish here, showing great engagement and enthusiasm to explore and learn. The setting is developed into calm, neutral areas where children spend quality time with their key person, utilising their senses for learning.

Staff are trained in baby massage, which takes place in a dedicated baby spa, fostering secure attachments and promoting health benefits. Children are encouraged to be independent, even from a young age, attempting to put on their own outdoor suits and feed themselves.

This nurturing approach helps children become confident, resilient, and secure within their surroundings. The nursery operates year-round, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

During their time at Kids Planet Wallasey, children particularly enjoy the outdoor environment, playing outside in all weathers and accessing fresh air daily. They are also taken out regularly to local areas like the beach and the park.

The nursery excels in its provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring all children develop extraordinarily well. Staff demonstrate a strong understanding of individual needs, collaborating closely with parents and external agencies, and have received praise from parents for their supportive approach.
