About this day nursery

30am until 6pm, all year round. Established in 2018, the nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 13 July 2021.

Children at the nursery are happy, behave well, and develop independence and good self-care skills. The stimulating indoor and outdoor environments offer plenty of opportunities for safe exploration and a variety of experiences.

Staff expertly support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) by collaborating with other professionals, ensuring consistent and effective progress for each child. The curriculum thoughtfully focuses on developing children's social and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on emotional well-being, even offering a sensory room for relaxation.

Children engage in activities that foster curiosity, from investigating frozen dinosaurs and floating feathers to re-enacting stories and exploring sensory trays. Physical development is encouraged through "wake up, shake up" exercises and yoga, helping children understand healthy habits and promoting calmness.

The nursery effectively prepares children for school through activities like discussing local school photographs and uniforms, and fostering independence and concentration. Parents are kept well-informed about their child's progress through regular communication with staff and electronic systems, reflecting the nursery's commitment to parental involvement.
