SEND provision

Leaders provide regular training and guidance on supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff work effectively with specialist professionals, such as occupational health therapists, physiotherapists and speech and language teams, to ensure consistent strategies are in place. Leaders use additional funding to purchase specialist equipment, enabling children to engage and learn alongside their peers.

Outdoor space

Staff ensure that children have many opportunities to develop their physical skills, both indoors and outdoors. For example, younger children dig in the sand and use tools in the mud kitchen. Older children are learning to use scissors and throw large balls. Children show resilience as they practise their balancing skills when outside in the garden.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language receive support from staff, who build back-and-forth conversations to help them develop their speaking skills in English.

There isn’t enough words to describe how fantastic this nursery is. I came for a show round and was warmly welcomed by the two ladies in the office which I assume are the managers. They offered me a warm drink whilst they took me around the nursery. You can see how happy, settled and loved the children are. The resources are neutral but the walls are filled with colourful art work and photographs showcasing the visits, trips and special events the nursery hold. Each member of staff was friendly and answered all my questions, including the silly ones. I look forward for my child to start.

Brilliant nursery with excellent management the entire team who go above and beyond to support the whole family. My daughter is in the tots room and is doing brilliantly. I love all the themed days that the nursery do including the “Italian Winter Olympic Day” today. My child got to role play with a range of skis, sledges as well as lots of fantastic messy play and outdoor activities. Could not recommend this nursery enough. The team are all amazing and it is a lovely nursery.
