Old School House Nursery, rated 'Good' by Ofsted on 23rd November 2022, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-4 years, operating all year round. The dedicated management team is committed to delivering high-quality care and education.
Staff are warm and attentive, fostering strong relationships with the children, ensuring they feel happy and secure. The nursery offers a broad and balanced curriculum designed to build upon each child's existing knowledge and abilities, promoting independence from an early age.
Babies happily explore spacious rooms, engaging in activities such as pouring sand and tapping blocks, while older children eagerly learn Spanish and Ukrainian words. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are exceptionally well supported, with additional funding carefully utilised and a Special Educational Needs Coordinator who collaboratively works with various professionals for timely referrals and comprehensive support.
Outdoor play is encouraged, where children harmonise, practising hand-to-eye coordination by rolling, throwing, and catching balls. Parents consistently commend the nursery for the care and education their children receive, supported by effective communication through a family app that details their child's day and offers suggestions for home learning.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported very well. Additional funding is carefully used to support children's individual needs. The special educational needs coordinator knows how to make timely referrals to outside agencies. She works collaboratively with a range of professionals. This helps to ensure that all children receive the right support.
Children play harmoniously in the outdoor area. They practise their hand-to-eye coordination as they roll balls to each other. Children giggle with glee as they practise throwing and catching balls with a partner.
Fantastic school staff are wonderful welcoming my daughter loves it here and can’t wait to start full time !!
