Inclusion & environment
Staff work with other professionals to ensure children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the support they need to achieve. Funding for children in receipt of early years pupil premium is carefully spent on where it is needed most. Staff provide additional resources and targeted support to help children to catch up in their learning.
Babies develop confidence as they learn to move, with staff helping them safely negotiate stairs and a ramp on the activity centre. Older children develop physical skills during a planned 'squiggle and wiggle' activity, using scarves for circular movements and chalks to draw lines.
We couldn’t be more grateful to Kids World Nursery for the care and love they’ve given our son over the past 7 months. He absolutely loved being there and formed such a wonderful connection with the staff and other children. We’ve seen huge progress in his development — especially in his speech, confidence, and independence. It’s clear how much effort the team puts into creating a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating environment. Thank you for being such a special part of our son’s early years — we’ll always look back on our time at Kids World with gratitude and appreciation!
Read on GoogleMy little girl has been going to Kids world since she was 18 months old so has been in the baby room and now the preschool room. She absolutely loves it there and always looks so happy to be there. The staff are amazing and so caring, I wouldn't want to send her anywhere else and I'm sure she wouldn't either. They hold little events for mothers day and fathers day where we can go in and spend time with the children and the kids have lots of occasions to celebrate through the year too.
Read on GoogleMy daughter started at kids world when she was one (baby room), she has now progressed to the preschool room. Both rooms are absolutely fantastic I cannot praise them enough. Staff are all wonderful and friendly and really take the time to get to know your child and support where needed. My daughters come on loads in terms of her confidence and speech and I really believe nursery has been a huge factor in this. A variety of nutritious meals are also provided and my daughter always eats well on her nursery days. Cannot recommend the nursery enough! Thanks for all that you do for the kiddies! Xxx
Read on GoogleOur boy started with Kids World Kimberworth at 9 months and was daunting at first, leaving our first born in the hands of others but on reflection 1 year later, there was nothing to be afraid of. The staff are fantastic, providing a safe, clean environment for the children to flourish. All staff are very friendly and get to know both kids and parents on a personal level. They not only keep our boy entertained, they stimulate his learning and have been instrumental in his physical, communication and social development. They know what he likes and how to get the very best out of him. They also have an app on which you can track what they’ve eaten, how much sleep they’ve had and even how many times nappies have been changed. They can also share photos and videos of activities throughout the day which is amazing and encourages communication with the parents to again develop relationships. Could not recommend this nursery more!!
Read on GoogleMy son has started in the baby room at Kidsworld and he is 9 months. The ladies in the baby room are so welcoming and friendly. They incorporate any routine you have at home and make your babies feel loved and needed! He is starting to eat different foods there too which I have held off at home due to being anxious about weening and this has helped massively. Would recommend them ☺️
