Children's behaviour is impeccable. They have outstanding levels of self-motivation and a very positive attitude to learning, concentrating and persevering with complicated tasks. Children are safe and have fun learning; laughter is frequently heard, and staff use humour and animated interactions, including different voices and actions for book characters, to excite them. Children of all ages demonstrate a love of literacy, with family members enriching story sessions as 'guest readers'. Staff also assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and have created a quiet, calm space to support emotional well-being.
