Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well by the manager and staff. Additional funding is used effectively to provide one-to-one support from staff to meet children's individual needs. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to put targets in place to support children's learning and development, for example, using picture cards to help children understand routines.

Outdoor space

Children show that they enjoy the time they spend in the nursery garden. Children in the pre-school room show good balance and coordination when they climb over crates and down wooden ramps. Staff stand close to them to promote their safety and to offer them a helping hand if they need it.

I moved from another county to Kindred Lowdham and was very apprehensive because of all the changes my daughter was experiencing due to divorce. Alphabet House/Kindred Lowdham Nursery & Pre-school staff were incredibly supportive and can honestly say it feels like a little family. They are very attentive to all of my daughter's needs and development milestones. My daughter is thriving in this very loving and supportive environment. Compared to the last nursery, you can tell the staff love to be there, love the children and have excellent relationships with them rather than it just being a job. The staff really care and go out of their way to support me and my daughter. The manager is fantastic and clearly promotes a happy environment, full of fun, curiosity and wonder.

Highly recommend this nursery. The setting is homely, they have good structure and are very organised. The staff go above and beyond for both child and parent. I always look forward to seeing photos of my child and the updates at the end of each week to find out what they’ve been getting up to. The children are always learning something new. The manager is fantastic.

Kindred Lowdham was the most amazing find for our family. Our daughter settled in to the baby room straight away and the team have ensured her transitions to each room as she has got older have been seamless. She absolutely loves going and comes home having learnt something new everyday. Each and every team member is so friendly, and welcoming and the food is SO varied! Absolutely lovely place. Highly recommended

No doubt the best nursery. My daughter joined kindred Lowdham in February this year and the girls in baby room made her settling in period so smooth. The staff are so attentive and couldn’t do anymore when caring for the children. My daughter gets excited when we enter the car park and her arms are always open wide for the staff to take her in. As a first time mum the nursery phase was very daunting for me but I can’t thanks all involved for making this process perfect not only for my daughter but also my family. Thank you everyone xx
