Kineton Playgroup Ltd, established in 2007, operates from purpose-built premises on the site of Kineton C of E Primary School, providing childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years. Open Monday to Friday during school term times, with sessions from 8am to 6pm, the playgroup focuses on creating a stimulating and engaging environment.
Children are noted to be extremely happy upon arrival, eager to participate in the superb activities available. The well-planned learning environment offers choices that spark interest, leading to high levels of engagement and focus.
The playgroup excels in promoting children's physical development and good health, with extensive outdoor learning opportunities. Children can choose to spend much of their day outside, engaging with exciting equipment for both physical and cognitive challenges.
Frequent forest school sessions help children understand safety and manage risks, with children enthusiastically tackling large-scale obstacle courses. The provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is highly regarded, with parents identifying the high level of support.
The special educational needs coordinator actively supports these children and their families. Children are articulate and capable of recognising, discussing, and regulating their feelings and behaviour, fostering strong friendships and demonstrating kindness.
Parents consistently praise the positive and respectful relationships with staff and the clear communication systems that keep them informed about their child's progress.

Outdoor space

Frequent forest school sessions develop children's understanding of safety and how to manage their own risk, and children enthusiastically challenge themselves on a large-scale obstacle course.
