Kings Heath Grange Day Nursery, a family-operated institution established in August 1996, is renowned for its exceptional childcare provision. Situated in Grange Road, Kings Heath, conveniently close to the High Street, it serves both local families and commuters.
The nursery building, originally a warehouse, has been extensively renovated to meet the highest standards, offering a secure and stimulating environment for children's education and play. The nursery focuses on fostering intellectual, social, emotional, moral, and physical development, treating each child as an individual to nurture self-esteem and peer interaction.
They are committed to promoting British Values, integrating principles of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect into their daily routines and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Security is a key priority, with controlled access at both entrances and a dedicated staff to monitor visitors.
The facility provides an outdoor play area, a quiet space for children seeking calm, and six specialised rooms designed for different age groups and developmental stages. The nursery also offers separate provisions for older children attending their after-school club.

Inclusion & environment
Staff offer an inclusive provision and provide targeted, individual support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), helping all children to make progress. The special educational needs coordinators (SENCos) support staff well to make timely referrals when necessary and put targeted support in place. They work in close partnership with other professionals and parents to ensure children's individual needs are met.
Babies and children develop their physical skills as they move around the outdoor space accessing a variety of equipment. They take measured risks as they master climbing the steps of the slide and use a range of wheeled toys. Staff support babies to develop core strength and coordination, which helps them to master walking.
