A key feature is the extensive outdoor space, encompassing a private play area, a wooded Forest School, an AstroTurf pitch, a netball court, and access to the football pitch, all within a secure, gated, and off-road setting. The nursery prides itself on its stable and experienced staff team, many of whom have worked there for over five years, ensuring continuity for the children.

To enrich learning, Kings Meadow Nursery incorporates specialist teachers for activities such as football, "Twirling Toddlers" for singing and dancing, and "Bilinguasing" for Spanish language lessons. They also offer Forest School sessions where children can engage in activities like building fires and toasting marshmallows, fostering a love for the outdoors and adventure.

The nursery emphasises individuality and encourages children to explore, discover, laugh, and play, aiming to build confidence and happiness in every child. They believe that some of the most effective learning experiences occur in a natural outdoor environment.

Staff gather valuable information from parents when children start at the nursery to set accurate starting points and next steps. They quickly identify any gaps in children's knowledge and focus their planning to support these, communicating with parents effectively through regular progress updates via an online application so early support can be implemented if needed.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy daily outdoor play where they skilfully negotiate the area on balance bicycles and scooters. This helps to develop their spatial awareness skills.
