Kingsley Road Preschool, located in Hounslow, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years old, operating during term-time only. The preschool focuses on a 'learn through play' approach, encouraging children to share ideas and engage in creative activities tailored to their individual needs.

They offer structured early learning programmes, creative activities to foster artistic expression and emotional growth, and outdoor play promoting physical activity and teamwork. The preschool is dedicated to preparing children for primary school by promoting independence, good hygiene, self-care skills, communication, language development, resilience, confidence, and the formation of friendships.

Led by manager Bella Brenton, who has been with the preschool since its opening in 2016 and holds a Level 3 in childcare, leadership and management training, and a Level 3 SENCo qualification, the team is committed to providing a high-quality workforce in a safe, loving, and homely environment. Kingsley Road Preschool emphasises close collaboration with parents to ensure each child receives the best possible start to their educational journey and is part of a small chain of nurseries in the Hounslow borough, trading under Southbedfont Playgroup with Ofsted registration EY480410.

At Kingsley Road Preschool, we provide a nurturing environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of your child. Using our learn through play approach, giving your children an opportunity to share ideas and create in a way that suits them. We aim to make this journey through pre-school as exciting and enjoyable as possible, working closely with parents is paramount to us getting the very best start to your child's time with us.

What it's like

Staff use children's starting points to plan a personalised and exciting curriculum. Staff assessments ensure they set appropriate targets for children to meet individual milestones and prepare them for their next stages in learning, including starting school. Children are happy and staff support their emotional development using books and 'feeling monsters', also providing sensory rooms and quiet spaces for comfort.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged on an hourly basis for non-funded children and additional hours. Parents must provide their own nappies, wet wipes, snacks, and lunch to avoid extra charges.
